July 3, 2010This is for Liz, mostly, since she said at the beach she hadn’t been following ATTN. This is how you start: with #2. It’s not the best, but it introduces the two main recurring characters, Sen. Junkie Einstein and the Angry Gorilla. It also has introduces the chemistry between Katie Couric and Andrew Gregory, and has that amazing refrain (which you’ll hear again).
Next jump to episodes 5 and 6, which see the group making the whole thing really work as a song, not just a collection of silly bits and catchy hooks. 6 is probably my favorite of the whole series.
From there, assuming you’re hooked, you can go anywhere. It’s all good to varying degrees, but to my mind 8-10 is a particularly strong run, with T-Pain making a memorable cameo in #8, #9 somehow making Hugo Chavez adorable, and #10 has turtles. What more can you ask for?
